Sometimes a woman will use reverse psychology on you, or something close to it.  We all know that when a woman says things like "Fine, go ahead" it generally means "You better NOT" or "You don't want to see what's going to happen if you try me."

But when a woman gets into a manic mode and says "I need to clean this place, and you'd better just stay out of my way!" that is not an invitation to help.  That is a direct command - stay out of the way, but stay close in case you are called on to perform some minor chore such as getting something from a shelf, brining her something, etc.  But perform these duties like a 15th century servant in a castle: enter, do what you're supposed to do, and bow while walking out backwards without comment.  Don't try to help, don't try to give suggestions, don't try to do ANYTHING.  Just leave.  Quick.  But no sudden movements.  You're dealing with a venemous snake here, don't startle it.  Just escape unharmed, if you can.
